Job purpose


Provides an excellent administrative support and coordination to the Human Resources Department on all personnel matters including but not limited to: recruitment, onboarding, credentialing, timekeeping and scheduling.


Essential Functions


  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions in a timely manner.
  • Collects all new hire paperwork, submit it for review by Human Resources Director before sending it to payroll section.
  • Updates HR related spreadsheets with employee change requests and processes necessary paperwork.
  • Assists with processing of employee terminations.
  • Assists the Human Resources Head with various special projects.
  • Schedules applicant interviews as requested by the Human Resources Director.
  • Assists the Human Resources Head in scheduling conferences by reserving facilities like hotels and/or restaurants.
  • Makes photocopies, faxes documents and performs other clerical duties as directed by the Human Resources Head.
  • Prepares new employee files and enter it to the HRIS systems.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned.




  • Basic knowledge of human resources department.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Keen eye to details.
  • Must have basic computer skills (MS Office Suite such as Word and Excel, knowledge of HRIS systems will be helpful but not required).
  • Good listener.
  • Subject to full reference check.
  • Subject to full background screening.


Working and Physical conditions


Work is primarily in a climate controlled office setting with minimal safety/health hazard potential.  Sitting, sedentary, walking, occasional lifting from floor, bending, frequent near vision use for reading and computer use.


Direct reports


Human Resources Assistant is directly supervised by the Human Resources Head.
